Happy 60th Birthday

I had the opportunity to photograph this family who was celebrating their dad's 60th birthday! They were a classy family, and I was especially taken with their mother. She had a quiet beauty and peaceful personality. I can tell her family thinks the world of her too. Take a look!

Soledad and Michelle are friends who had their senior photos taken on the same day. I couldn't have asked for better models! First up is Soledad. I love her shiny black curls and shapely eye brows.

Michelle knows how to work the camera! Her skin seems to glow with multiple shades coming through and her eyes are amazing.

The orange tree in our backyard is covered in blossoms. I feel bad that most of the country is covered in ice while I stroll around barefoot in my backyard snapping sunny photos.

Katelyn is expecting a new human any day now. I feel inclined to take a photo of her everyday until the baby arrives because I love the idea of capturing a mother on the day her baby arrives. Later she can think to herself that was literally just a few moments before my life changed forever.
